Spider-Man Rogues Gallery Power Rankings
Every major rogue ranked from weakest to strongest

Spider-Man’s world isn’t just defined by great power — it’s shaped by the enemies determined to break him. The rogues gallery of Spider-Man is one of the most iconic in comic history, filled with brilliant scientists, monstrous experiments, criminal masterminds, and deeply tragic figures. Some rely on raw strength, others on genius-level intellect, advanced technology, or psychological warfare — but all of them have pushed Peter Parker to his absolute limits.
This list ranks Spider-Man’s major villains from weakest to strongest, based purely on power, abilities, and on-screen or in-story feats. No popularity bias. No sympathy points. Just who’s the most dangerous when the masks come off and the fight truly begins.
25. Tinkerer

A genius with tech, but not much of a fighter. The Tinkerer is dangerous in the same way a hacker is — from a distance. He’s made gear for half the villains on this list, but in a one-on-one? He’s toast.
24. Chameleon

The first-ever Spidey villain. Chameleon excels in deception, not destruction. Master of disguise, espionage, and infiltration, but lacks any enhanced abilities. Dangerous in the shadows, but a poor match in a straight fight.
23. Black Cat

Felicia Hardy is agile, clever, and has tech that mimics bad luck powers. She’s pulled off big heists and held her own in scrapes, but compared to the heavy-hitters in Spidey’s rogue gallery, she’s mid-tier at best.
22. Jackal

More threatening for his cloning tech and twisted obsessions than his fighting skills. The Jackal gave us Ben Reilly and the Clone Saga — massive impacts on Peter’s life — but he’s more mad scientist than true combat threat.
21. Kingpin

A crime lord with absurd strength for a normal human. Wilson Fisk is smart, ruthless, and strong enough to fight superhumans. But he’s still grounded — no powers, just muscle and money. He wins with planning, not force.
20. Tombstone

Tough, strong, and cold as ice. Tombstone’s durability and strength are just above peak human, putting him a notch above goons like Kingpin. He’s a street-level menace who doesn’t stay down easily.
19. Mysterio

Special effects, fear gas, illusions — Mysterio’s whole thing is confusion. He can create chaos and has tricked even powerful heroes. But once you see through the smoke? He’s just a guy in a fishbowl helmet.
18. Shocker

Basic idea, solid execution. Shocker’s gauntlets hit like trucks, and his vibration blasts can break concrete. He’s no genius, but his gear can keep Spider-Man guessing — if only for a few minutes.
17. Vulture

Adrian Toomes has enhanced strength and flight from his suit. While he’s aging and not the most durable, he’s dangerous in the sky and has taken on multiple Spider-People before. A seasoned, high-flying threat.
16. Prowler

Smart, skilled, and tech-equipped. Hobie Brown (or Aaron Davis in alternate universes) is a stealthy threat with enough gadgetry to surprise even seasoned heroes. Not a powerhouse, but not someone you sleep on either.
15. Kraven the Hunter

Peak human strength, senses, and reflexes — plus tactical brilliance and an obsession with the hunt. Kraven doesn’t rely on gadgets or tricks. He beats Spider-Man fair and square using brains and brawn. No powers — just a predator.
14. Lizard

Dr. Curt Connors transforms into a monstrous reptile with insane strength, regeneration, and durability. He’s borderline Hulk-lite, with instincts that make him vicious in a fight. Dangerous and unpredictable.
13. Morbius

The Living Vampire has super strength, speed, flight, and a thirst for blood. Morbius is a wild card — more antihero than villain at times — but when he’s turned loose, he’s a brutal mix of brains and brawn.
12. Scorpion

Thanks to a J. Jonah Jameson-funded experiment, Mac Gargan became a serious powerhouse. Scorpion has super strength, agility, and a tail that can smash through buildings. He’s also dangerously unstable — a loose cannon with real firepower.
11. Doctor Octopus

Otto Octavius is all about control. His mechanical arms are insanely strong and fast — capable of catching Spider-Man off guard and taking on multiple heroes. Combined with a genius intellect, he’s one of Spidey’s most consistent threats.
10. Rhino

Blunt-force trauma incarnate. Rhino is nearly unstoppable once he charges. He’s got speed, strength, and armor that tanks explosions. Not the smartest villain, but his raw power puts him in the upper tier.
9. Hobgoblin

Everything terrifying about Green Goblin — just with a more ruthless streak. His glider, bombs, and superhuman serum give him serious staying power. More unpredictable than Norman, and just as deadly.
8. Green Goblin

The arch-nemesis. Norman Osborn has genius-level intellect, enhanced strength, and the Goblin arsenal. He’s unpredictable, sadistic, and one of the few villains to leave permanent scars on Peter’s life.
7. Sandman

Flint Marko’s body is made of living sand. He’s tanked lightning, reformed after explosions, and grown to skyscraper size. Almost impossible to put down permanently — unless you’re carrying a cement truck.
6. Hydro-Man

Like Sandman but with water. He can reshape, drown, and absorb physical attacks. His weakness is evaporation, but in most environments, Hydro-Man is near-invulnerable and hits harder than he gets credit for.
5. Mister Negative

A dual-life villain with the power to corrupt minds and project dark energy. Mister Negative can flip allies into enemies and dish out blasts strong enough to level buildings. Plus, his inner demon form is a nightmare to face.
4. Electro

Max Dillon is pure electricity. Once a joke villain, Electro has grown into a legit powerhouse — controlling energy, moving through wires, and dishing out lightning bolts that can fry Spider-Man instantly.
3. Venom

The fusion of Eddie Brock and the alien symbiote creates one of Spidey’s most iconic and brutal enemies. Venom has strength, speed, camouflage, regeneration, and immunity to Spider-Man’s spider-sense. A beast in combat, and always personal.
2. Carnage

Cletus Kasady and his symbiote are chaos incarnate. Carnage is stronger, faster, and more unpredictable than Venom — with shape-shifting weapons and no moral code. He’s taken on entire teams of heroes and left bodies in his wake.
1. Morlun

A multiversal vampire who feeds on the life force of Spider-Totems. Morlun hunted down and killed multiple Spider-People across dimensions, and even gave 616 Peter Parker one of the hardest fights of his life. He’s not just a Spidey villain — he’s a force of nature.
