What's the Deal With These Reoccurring Dreams?
The reoccurring toilet dream and more
There were bathroom stalls as far as I could see. No one was around. Only me. I went into the first stall I saw. Okay! Gross! Not clean!
I moved on to the next one. Out of order. Flusher isn't working.
Next one.
Huge crack in seat.
Really?
From one stall to another, I attempt to find a suitable toilet that I can actually use only to be faced with another problem.
Toilet paper clogging the toilet. No toilet paper. Stall door won't lock. Anything that you can think of that can go wrong involving a public toilet has happened. It's beyond frustrating!
And then I wake up.
The reoccurring toilet dream.
It's been a while since I've had this reoccurring dream and I'm going to take that as a good thing!
Is having this dream due to stress? An overactive imagination? Lack of sleep?
If that's not bad enough, I've also been having another reoccurring dream involving a toilet that's quite similar. And I don't know which one is worse!
Every once in a while, I'll dream there is a stall that is working (Oh! Thank goodness!) but there's just one problem! The stall is either completely open or there's a huge gap in the wall meaning anyone that walks by can see you!
I'm really starting to wonder, do other people have these kinds of dreams or is this just me and my weird ass imagination! 🤣
The reoccurring train dream
I'm walking near a series of train tracks. It's so peaceful until I hear the rumbling of an approaching train. A moment later, I watch it go by. Sometimes its not one train but two crossing paths.
I've had this dream off and on over the last few months. When I started having this dream more than three times, it really got me thinking.
Why do I keep dreaming about a train?
I'm guessing there must be some symbolism here.
Maybe it has something to do with my journey through life. Or maybe it's about moving forward just as the train going down the tracks moves forward.
A Reoccurring Nightmare from Childhood
Most of the time our dreams are soon forgotten soon after we wake up. We only tend to remember the strangest and more memorable ones.
There are only a few dreams I remember from childhood that have stuck with me and will for the rest of my life.
I remember one reoccurring dream from childhood that especially stands out and it was more of a reoccurring nightmare.
When I was a kid, I remember there used to be a poster of a tiger hanging up on the living room wall. Thinking back now, it was a beautiful picture. The tiger looked so majestic. It could have easily been a picture out of a National Geographic magazine.
As a kid I never liked that picture. I was afraid of it and it was all because of a nightmare I kept having about it.
In this dream, the tiger would come to life and jump right out of the picture. If that wasn't bad enough, the tiger could talk too and would say threatening things to me.
I remember hiding as the tiger jumped out of the picture and crept around the house, stalking me. The tiger was cunning and had superpowers in a sense. No matter what, it always found me.
And then, I stopped having the dream. I'm going to take a guess that the dreams stopped once the picture came down.
Weird how a simple picture can trigger the strangest dreams!
Are these reoccurring dreams, as weird as they can be, trying to tell us something? Maybe the next time I dream of the misfortune of running into one broken toilet after another, I'll pay more attention!

If I may, recurring dreams are to show us we are off our life path, there is something that we should be doing. Toilet dreams - need to get rid of something, train dreams - caught in a cycle and not moving forward. Tiger/childhood dreams - there is something we need to master in our life. Hope you don't mind. I'm a Life Coach and Spiritualist. I luv this stuff and luv helping. This is a great story you have written.
I’ve had a couple recurring dreams, but none like this. Mine were always fun/ comforting. But, I haven’t had any dreams at all lately. Not sure why
