What's The One Thing For Maximal Impact?

How I Transform People For The Better

I’ve always had a creator-driven mindset for the last several years now.

I’ve done blogging, spent time on social media, did YouTube, done side hustles, and so forth.

I’m someone who likes to do many things, but I realized that it wasn’t benefiting me as well.

Too many things at once leads to a relm of distractions and confusion.

With that, I’ve had to narrow it down in the last year in helping people, while creating impact at the same time.

I had to boil it down to only one thing- And one thing only.

That’s what I want to discuss here.

My New Legacy Project

Sometimes last year, I was talking to a friend of mine (who lives overseas), and we had a great conversation about finances.

I told her how I’ve grown to like personal finance, and why I believe it’s important to manage your money.

Regardless of where you’re at in life (or your wealth status), there’s always room to keep learning and growing.

Not just from the personal side, but the financial portion as well.

So I told her how much I enjoy talking about money.

I mentioned how important it was to not overspend, to put money in an emergency fund, and then invest the rest of it elsewhere.

I told her that I’ve been investing my money differently in the last year, and that I was doing very well with it.

It went like the following:

Me: I believe that personal finance is very important for every individual. Especially for me, I believe it’s crucial to understand so you can do well with money management.

Financial education is undervalued in the country right now.

With schools not emphasizing it enough, there’s clearly a lack of financial literacy in America.

What I’ve been doing in investing and trading has been a game-changer for me. With my results, I want to share my wins and losses, or my mistakes that I’ve made.

I feel very good about where I’m going that I believe younger people would greatly benefit from my experience.

It’s the one thing I’m laser-focused on right now.

If there’s one thing I want to be remembered for, it’s going to be sharing my journey in personal finance.

When I die someday, I want to be remembered for that.

My friend: Wow. So it’s more of your legacy right?

Me: You bet- It’s my legacy project right now.

________________________________________

That’s what I meant to think about, but my friend made it clear on that point.

I see my personal finance journey as more of a legacy project.

One that will define my future while helping others achieve similar results.

If I can do that successfully, I’ll be happy taking that to my grave.

If It’s Only One Thing, What Will It Be?

I did an exercise not too long ago, and I asked myself the following question:

If there was one thing I had to choose for the rest of my life, while creating the most impact on others, what would that one thing be?

I answered it as the following:

To share my knowledge and energy on financial education.

The more I can teach and spread awareness on personal finance, the better off people will be in life.

And that’s true.

Without financial literacy, life becomes much more challenging.

To an extent, it becomes harder to keep up with the rising cost of living.

Or even fight inflation, as it’s much more serious than people think.

If people can get the financial puzzle down, it becomes easier to live your best life.

Financial success leads to more opportunities to live a better quality life.

However you define that is up to you.

  1. If you want better health, work on that.
  2. If you want better relationships (or improve them), work on that.
  3. If you want a better diet, work on that as well.

As long as you work on the financial literacy part, you can go far in life.

I have my own meaning of a better quality life, but I’ll share that for another time.

If there’s one thing that I want to make the most impact on-

That can change people’s lives, it’s going to be in personal finance.

Sharing my success in the last year helps.

I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m getting there.

I’m confident that I’ll reach the height of it in the next few years.

It’ll take awhile, but it’s well worth going on the journey.

This right here will be my legacy project, and what I want to be remembered for.

This Calculator Is Powerful

I started my journey in financial education about 6 years ago.

I’ve made substantial changes in how I manage money, and continue to improve on it.

Am I perfect?

Of course not, but I stay consistent with my money practices and remain disciplined.

I’ve played the patience and discipline game for about a year now, and it’s worth playing to get great results.

I started trading options in the last year.

You don’t need to know what they are, as I once did when starting out.

But it’s been a game-changer, and I’m getting better with it.

If that’s something you want to learn more about, I have a neat tool you can use to build long-term wealth.

Even generational wealth if you care about others you know.

I refer to it as the Millionaire Calculator, where it helps to see where 1% weekly compounding can take you.

If you’re consistent with the compounding interest, it can add up big time.

Plus, you’ll get other bonuses as well that are worth looking into.

Until next time,
