When the people of this world can't live up to the expectations they set for us all, it's time to cancel that subscription to what they are trying to sell.

I.

When the preacher man

can’t live the life

he preach,

Cancel my subscription.

II.

When the law-and-order man

can’t follow

the rules he makes,

Cancel my subscription.

III.

When the peaceful man

kills,

when the strong man

fails,

when the honest man

lies,

Cancel my subscription.

IV.

I don’t need to read them anymore.

I don’t need their words,

anymore.

V.

All I have is me

and the morals I paved;

the beliefs I built.

VI.

I need no words from them.

I need to read the ones I write.

VI.

For them,

I cancel my subscription.

For me,

I start a new subscription

to me.
