Drinking Wines For Me

I can out drink any man

Little wine girl me

I could drink an ocean of white wine,

then top it off with a bottle of red red.

I am a drinker, not a drunkard,

I can drink myself to bed.

The glass is never half-empty,

nor is it ever full,

just something good to take away my day.

A liquid meal to make me full.

I see deep in my wine bottle,

I can outdrink any man.

Glass after glass, I stay steady,

while they falter where they stand.

White to red, slow to faster,

I let the night pour down my throat.

I don’t slur, I don’t stumble,

I just sink and learn to float.

A slow burn down my throat,

a hush inside my chest,

I don’t drink to forget—

I drink because I love wine it’s the best

Men raise their hands, they call it quits,

but I go longer, drink runs clean.

I wear my liquor like a cloak,

soft and sharp, smooth and mean.

No man can match my rhythm,

no hands as sure as mine—

for I have made a home here,

deep inside my red and white wine

If this is true good for you, I like wine like you just enough to smooth away the edges. Good job.
