quarter-life crisis
globs of intention
By Erin Latham SheaPublished a day ago • Updated a day ago • 1 min read

I dream sweaty about levitating
my mother's face, aghast,
popcorn ceiling of houses past
/
yellow roses, worse-for-wear and
yellow cake, slanted, wet with berries.
7 candles in total. Impaled rosettes.
/
when I land on a birthday wish, it's
scattershot like a spirit box message:
body connect; frequency; more dance

We had that same hideous nonsense on our walls, and I often dreamt of a world in those swirls... And this knocked me out!
