returning to life . . .
finding the path again while
suffering more while reading more to be more
listening to โdespacitoโ or โslowly โ . . . . BTS and

weโre getting closer, little by littleโ
being happy to return and be reborn .. .
discovering a new way to live. . . .
returning to the emergency room weekly.
teaching wonderful students again at the university . . .
finding positivity in the negativity of pain. . .
living through another cancer
returning to kendo, japanese sword training, . .
failing to pass a 3rd degree black belt . . .
learning to learn again. . .
smiling because it is good seeing old friends in Texas,

It's important to recognize that you cannot go through life as easily on your own. My name is Elizabeth and I'm a survivor of child abuse and horrific trauma. Healing from trauma is not a quick fix and recognizing that it will take time, is part of the struggle.
