Scorched Tongue
The Last Flame
Burned
My tongue is scorched,
not on hot coffee or
French fries
No, it was on
You, until
I torched your ass, your fucking fool
You wanted it all, removing your band
- that ring on your finger
Hiding in persona bigger than my sky, or
experience, but others guessed and
burned my heart speaking truth, it
sizzled from their eyes to my ears
So then
I burned you
Ended your games and stopped the flames
Spotlighted your lying rotten soul
so you could have no more
Truth of your blatant bloating braggadocio
burst from me, a flame thrower of brimstone
blotting out the bullshit you spewed
I bravely burned
and consummated you in hell’s boundary.
I see you, behind the blazing flames that
block you from me
Your tongue is scorched and covered in
sutures and seams, sizzling.
FEEL the burn.
I ended your psycho presence and put it to flames.
FEEL the burn.

Took me awhile to find it as the link didn't work. Well, this certainly is a hellfire of anguish and blasting with edginess! Thank you for giving my Unofficial Challenge a go Andi!
Powerful and full of rage, towards a cheater. The imagery you showed is intense. Nicely Done Andrea.
Wow. Anger towards cheater.
I’m struck by how you turn exposure into liberation. Calling out deception becomes an act of self-preservation and the flames feel cleansing rather than destructive.
So much intensity here!
“I bravely burned and consummated you in hell’s boundary.“ some powerful imagery here, Andi. Hope it’s not from recent personal experience, sounds like teens’ games.
So potent I can feel the heat and the rage you feel through your words. Love the rawness of it.
