I can’t speak romance,

There just isn’t any appeal.

Nor will I take a chance,

It’s something I don’t feel.

Just want to be single,

Being alone is not lonely.

I don’t want to mingle,

I’m so utterly free.

It makes you seem so fake,

To act like it matters at all.

No matter the path you take,

You’ll never answer the call.

I feel like I’m unloading,

It’s sort of like despair.

Nothing is exploding,

I don’t walk on air.

Keep being true to me,

I won’t fall for you.

Don’t you even see,

I will be forever aro.

I like it!! And,yes, being alone is not the same as lonely although I find too much alone can become lonely…at times.
