This is a short drabble of my ups and downs here on Vocal, and it seems that there have been many ups and quite a few downs for me and my writing here. I do I feel a lot of reading and commenting on others work here, but where I do have a few loyal followers over these past five years it seems that even though I have recently been on the Leaderboard and received a few TS's it always seems that my stats are always going down more than up I guess that is that darn algorithm I guess.

Reading Tween novels
For some reason I am reading some tween novels that I gave for Christmas presents to a few grandnieces they left behind when they moved and grew up. When I read these few books there was one that was actually kind of a beginning diary from a series called 'The Dork Diaries'. The one that I read first was one where the reader could answer questions that pertained to them, but after reading the whole 'book' a lot of the questions I thought adults could answer too. My idea is to use these questions as prompts for short drabble essays.

Cassie and Johnny
I’m the kind of dame you notice. I’m no femme fatale, but you can’t ignore me, at least not until I warn you about what’s coming, then everybody ignores me. Hell, they usually blame me afterwards and give Johnny all the credit for saving the day, but my Johnny couldn’t save a seat at the movies without my help. Sure, he’s brawny, but brainy? Not so much. Like that time I asked him to spot me five bucks, and he said he didn’t see it anywhere on me, and believe you me, he looked but good.

I have been there plenty of times. I am here to improve my writing and story telling skills. I also support our fellow Vocals in my own way. I notice people sometimes do not fallow series stories as much. They usually want a complete story.
