Ty Talaban
Ty Talaban was born and raised in Brooklyn, which gave foundation to his swaggy persona. The natural New Yorker charisma made him a standout when he moved to Texas by age 9. Ty Talaban had to adjust quickly to the culture shock of southern life. His prior lifestyle, environment, and style of speech created a challenge when making acquaintances, but the universal language of music smoothed over any doubts. Ty Talaban’s musical interest began while watching his father create reggae songs as a child. “He got me in tune. I didn't think I had a voice then”. Along with inspiration from artists like Lil Wayne, who wasn’t afraid to mesh genre’s on record, Ty Talaban found the push he needed to put himself out there as an artist. The rap rockstar was an opening act for artists such as Da Baby, Trippie Redd, Lil Baby, Stunna 4 Vegas, and 10K Cash Dancer. However, those high accolades did not slow down Ty Talaban’s work ethic. “Dollars” possess heavy moshpit energy. The boasty lyrics and rugged delivery will heighten your adrenaline. In Ty Talaban’s world, he does what he wants. His unapologetic presence gives his listeners an invite to his lifestyle.“I want to be remembered by my character”. “Dollars” is a lively record with trippy visuals that need to be played with the volume at its maximum. Whether “Dollars” is being played in a club or a kickback, it is guaranteed to amp up the vibe.

Hardbody Shard — Move Calculated, Let Them Do The Math
What’s your name and where are you from? My name is Hardbody Shard and I’m from Birmingham, Alabama. When I started taking music serious, like writing, recording, and releasing music, my first artist name was Reason. By the time I released my second project, “Parapenelia,” I had partnered with one of my best friends growing up and another close friend. Together, we formed a brotherhood called BTMG, also the name of my first single off of that project, produced by 30 Roc of Eardrummers. This was around the first time I had ever heard of “Reason” from TDE(Top Dog Entertainment), so I knew I had to do something about my name at the time. So once I released “Parapenelia” is when I took the BTMG and added it to Reason just to separate myself from him. After about a year, we kinda grew apart on the business end so I decided to rebrand and change my name once again. December 25th, 2018 I dropped “Fie On Me”(Directed by ALsoHD Films) (prod. by LamarcusJ and Prezzley P) under my current artist name, Hardbody Shard. I believe that change was something I needed. It was fresh and I knew there wasn’t another artist out there with the same alias.

Junoflo Interview: The Independent Rapper Discusses Moving Back to the US, New Releases and More
For Junoflo, 2020 has been a reset of sorts. Moving back to Los Angeles after a period in Korea, the 28-year-old finds himself free from any record labels, and free to create however he sees fit. Returning to the place he calls home for his own “sanity,” the year has been an understated success for the rapper. His latest album, 222:AM, hit almost half-a-million streams in its first 24 hours on Spotify. His “BOUT TIME” t-shirt which accompanied the record, in addition to merchandise released under the Good Loox banner, marked an interesting step into the fashion world for the versatile rapper, something he passionately describes as a “huge” part of his life. But, perhaps most importantly, Junoflo has rediscovered the “joy of making music.”

SURL Interview: The Indie Band Talk Through Their Successful Year, Collaborations and More
Of all the indie bands battling to break out of the competitive, packed domestic scene, SURL feel most equipped to do so. Offering a refreshing take on the genre’s typical style, floating between slightly dirty, roughened vintage-tinged melodies and lyrics depicting a true-to-life stories on life, they’re undeniably interesting as a unit. From the catchy, singalong “Dry Flower,” which bursts with an understated sonic vibrancy, right to the recent “Don’t Say No,” a blockbuster collaboration with Jay Park which seamlessly combines rock and hip-hop to create a genre-bending, melodic look at hidden feelings, the band have a clear knack for hit-making, and an obvious talent in their atmospheric, mature approach to music.

ReddRoxx
A Message From ReddRoxx Multi-Media Personality & Brand Manager For The Re-Launch of Hip Hop Weekly Radio My name is Maria but most know me as my personality name ReddRoxx. I've been in radio for 9 years and counting. I began as an intern at 93.7 WBLK and have been there ever since after landing my first radio show a few months after my internship concluded. I feel like I'm super down to earth or at least I'm told that I am lol. I feel like it's a result of my life experiences as a mother of three, domestic violence survivor, and growing up on the East Side of Buffalo which makes me relatable and able to easily connect with my listeners and followers. I love what I do, especially the niche I've found for interviewing. I began to interview some of your favorite celebrities through my career in radio and as a member of the Secret Society DJ Coalition. I love it so much that I created a web show dedicated to doing that called "On The Roxx" where I can get personal and have uncut conversations with some of the industry's biggest stars.
