Yes, Chef: How 'The Bear' Perfectly Captures Life Inside Of A Restaurant
Jeremy Allen White is no stranger to Chicago. The actor just wrapped up a decade long tenure on the South Side where he portrayed the poverty stricken genius Lip Gallagher on the Showtime series, Shameless. While White is the first one to say being on a single show that long made him feel like he wasn't even an actor anymore, FX Networks' The Bear proves him dead wrong. Not only is White a great actor, but he was the best choice to capture the character of Chef Carmen Berzatto.

The 5 Best Episodes of 'Chef's Table'
In the wide variety of food-related content swirling around the internet, Netflix seems to have a stronghold on the genre with not just the available content, but the quality of the content that exists. I'm admittedly a huge foodie and I have spent countless hours binging food-related content on Food Network, Netflix, Hulu, and beyond and I haven't been able to beat the best offering Netflix has - yes, I'm talking about Chef's Table.

My Review of "MasterChef Canada: Back to Win"
MasterChef Canada: Back to Win is the 7th season of the popular MasterChef Canada series. It's been a while since I've seen this show and it has to be the one reality competition series I can't wait to watch on TV. Season 6 finished up in the spring of 2019 and then the pandemic hit.

My Guilty Pleasure? Nailed It!. Second Place in Guilty Pleasure Binge Challenge.
If anyone were to ask me what I like to do in my spare time, I would probably respond with reading novels or watching documentaries. You know, something seemingly sophisticated. And although this is not entirely false, it does omit the fact that when I really just want to relax and turn my brain off, I turn on an episode of Nailed It!

Guilty Pleasure: Hell's Kitchen
2020 was a year that delivered a gift of seemingly infinite time to kill and nothing to do. We were all staying home finding that family time that was otherwise limited to a few blissful gatherings or fleeting moments now became the everyday. We started eating together; not quick stops to a communal table, each of us scattering after the plate was swiftly cleared, but long and quite honestly, lovely meal times that had no expiry. With all this newfound time comes restlessness, and this is where the guilty pleasures start to come into play.

You watched 6 hours of what?!
It all starts with a slight sore throat. Called boss, check. Husband aware, check. Hubby having done his best to tiptoe around, so as to wake poor, sick me, has departed for work. A couple extra Z's, but now I can't go back to sleep. I feel better, maybe I shouldn't have called in. No, "it's okay", I reassure myself that while I have things at work to do perhaps I can accomplish some light organizing.
