10 Worst Video Game Villains in History
Some of the worst video game villains are also some of our favorite because they are the main antagonists that keep us entertained, challenged, and fighting ruthlessly until the end. What makes a villain memorable? Is it their terrifying persona? How difficult they are to beat? Or is it the video game itself that makes the villain within it memorable, as is the case for Handsome Jack? Here are some of our best picks for favorite video game villains of all time, and the reasons for why we chose them.

9 Video Games That Would Make Good Movies or TV Shows (If Done Properly…)
It is no secret that movies based on video games are flops, nine times out of ten. I bet you can count the number of video game-based films you enjoyed on one hand. Some have been so bad that their leading actors have regretted starring them until their dying day (Bob Hoskins in The Super Mario Bros., for example).

Video Games That Mock You for Cheating
Unbeknownst to us lowly gamers, the developers of many of the most celebrated classics have stashed abundant, yet still rarely seen "easter eggs" into their virtual worlds. Easter eggs are simply wise cracks layered into the software of the video game. They can be represented in various forms, like pop culture references. There's high chance that if you've run across one, you may not have even noticed. Some of the overall most memorable easter eggs come from respected franchises, like Call of Duty,BioShock, Grand Theft Auto, The Legend of Zelda, Hitman, Fallout, and more.

The Joy of Creation
Hello, and welcome back to Silver Linings, where I shine a light on the maligned, forgotten, and ignored. It seems like the vast majority of games were designed with the Michael Bay mindset of blowing up everything you see. The biggest franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield and even lesser ones like Ace Combat and Gears of War revolve almost entirely around destroying everything in sight. It seems almost like violence is the order of the day when it comes to games.

Six Great Xbox One and PS4 Games for Under $30
With the summer quickly approaching, you might be a high schooler who will have a lot more time off to pour into video games, or you might just want some new games to play, but one of the major problems is the price for triple A games rising by the day with add on DLC, season passes, and loot boxes your wallet might just get overwhelmed—and for good reason. That's why I have compiled a list of great video games for $30 or under. To make sure the games I have compiled on my list or actually good games, I will cite sources like IGN, Metacritic, and blogs dedicated to that game. I will also cite where to get the game at the price like Amazon.com or Wal-mart.com. If you do buy your games from a brick and mortar store, I would suggest calling them up and asking if the game you want is in stock if you want to save the hassle of buying it offline. I will also include the file size for the games to make sure no one buys a huge game and soon realizes they have to delete a game or two.

Sexiest Video Games of All Time
The fact that self-identifying male gamers outnumber female gamers 15% to 6% is no reason to construct female video game characters to appease the male gaze. Not cool! That makes a lot of sexy games" bottom rung on our list of sexiest video games of all time.

Video Games Where You Play the Villain
Bad never felt so good, and what better way to play bad than through villainous evil deeds? These following games have some of the craziest stories and even the most intense protagonists, whose quests often lead them far and well beyond the brink of total mental destruction. Your goal? Your ambition? Mostly, it's to destroy the human race, or at least to kill as many people as possible (anyone remember Postal?), but they also centered around or advocated extreme violence in some capacity. Video games where you play the villain don't hesitate to make you, the player, ask what it means to even be the villain, whilst still pressuring you to further these demonic activities.

Top 5 Worst Gaming Companies
With the recent announcement from Monolith productions that they are removing micro transactions from their game Shadow of War, a prelude to the famous Lord of the Rings franchise, it made me happy. Too often do gamers see massive corporations use unhealthy tactics to elicit money from their customers. Most infamously through the use of micro transactions, where this caught the eyes of many politicians turning this into an international incident not seen since the days of Mortal Kombat. So from good news, let’s reflect on some of the companies that refuse to do the right thing, and how they alienate their customers.
