All I Wanted was an Easy Dinner
So for the most part, I am still unable to stand for more than a few seconds at a time without excruciating pain. My leg and foot is healing, but with healing comes pain... the skin pulled tightly, and when the blood rushes to the foot...

Renaissance Festival War Stories Sept 11/12, 2021
Saturday: Unofficial PRIDE Day. I made a facebook event for it months ago and the whole thing started after MNRF had done a PRIDE day in the past, but none made this year. So many flags, shops, and people taking part in support of one another in the spirit of love and PRIDE. It warms me inside and out.

well, it's a long story
I love my job because… well, it's sort of a long story. I do have a pretty interesting job, I'm a graphic designer, a "self-taught" one too, never went to University or any of that, but maybe I should have, maybe I could have ended up working for a innovative startup, or maybe I could be working at a BIG Tech firm, but that's not how my life went, and maybe that's a good thing. I started as a Photographer, a long long time ago… it feels like it's been a long time, but it's only been around 8 years or so. It was just a fun thing to do back then, my friends needed some photos, so I thought "ehh why not?", I had a Canon DSRL, a standard lens, and I'd take a picture of them here and there, usually we'd go somewhere around the downtown area. We lived near Chicago, so downtown was our meetup destination, but we wouldn't go to just take pictures, usually "taking pictures", meant "hitting on girls", I mean what else would we do at that age? But the "hitting on girls" part didn't usually work out because we'd usually make the excuse of "ohh let's just go take some picture there" and we'd end up spending a few hours doing that, maybe going over to Starbucks for a tea, and maybe, maybe, if one of us felt brave enough, we'd talk to a girl. But we're getting off track now.

I Continue to Absolutely Crush it When it Comes to Not Making any Money Writing
If not making any money writing were an Olympic sport I would be a gold medal winner. In fact, I would be a legendary five time gold medal winning Olympic hall of famer. In a little over five years of writing for a couple of different web publications and publishing over 3000 pieces of content (two of those years I was serving suspensions, as I am still currently at my former home of Medium.com) I have succeeded in earning (net profit after subscription expenses) a grand total of right around 200 bucks or $40/yr.

My Second Career And Our Mascot
Animals, our pet friends, are just as entertaining sometimes as your favorite comedian or that classic sitcom you just can't seem to stop watching. They make you laugh, they give you comfort, they offer companionship, and sometimes they provide the very thing you need, help to destress. They're a great source of comfort as you pet them, rubbing their fur, taking your mind off of the day behind you. They are emotional support animals, assistant animals, comfort animals, and then there are the ones that have been rescued and are the office mascots. In the era of work-from-home opportunities, and as many work from home due to Covid-19, this is an everyday thing for many.
