If you were to ask anyone who knows me, they’d tell you that I was always going to be a scientist. There was never any doubt in my mind that it was the only career path for me. A career in science research is a career that works in the unknown, a career that literally keeps you on your feet, and a career that occupies and challenges the mind. ‘Perfect!’ I would think, as I worked my through my Medicinal Chemistry degree and multiple research internships. Now full disclaimer here, I love my work and I wouldn’t change a thing if I had the chance to, but I’ve certainly encountered some things that they don’t teach you at university.

Chef Poophead
‘If you’ve ever met a psycho, you’ll know what I mean’. Poophead was our head chef at Cafe Fig Tree, and God knows why. Poophead had been there for years, and like dead wood everywhere, he believed he was a law unto himself. He never listened to anyone, especially not the people paying his wages. Some people can get away with being dickheads, but the rule is the goods/skills etc you bring to the table has to outweigh the bad/dickheadishness. That’s why Gordon Ramsey is allowed to be a foul-mouthed prick, what he brings to the table outweighs the smattering of C*%#’s that flow from his mouth like water from a fountain cherubs wang. Unfortunately, like X-factor rejects have proven time and time again, the most talentless schlubs are always the most convinced of their uniqueness and giftedness. Poophead was the type of guy who thought being a prick enhanced his aura of specialness, but he lacked any redeeming features to back-up his narcissism and arrogance. Have you ever met a weed smoker who thinks their stoned ramblings make them profound? Poophead was a meth smoker, which is like a weed smoker on well, meth. Poophead was unapproachable and unpredictable. As the managers, Christy and I were both entitled to, and expected to make changes to the menu. We were expected to adjust the menu in response to the changing wants and needs of our customers, and to ensure customer satisfaction by returning any meals they were unhappy with to the kitchen and arranging replacement meals. We were also according to our contracts, entitled to a lunch off the menu during our break. Poophead, did not like to do any unnecessary work, and in his eyes any work was unnecessary, but particularly any work that did not feed his idea of what he was worthy of. Preparing meals for the café managers was one of these tasks he felt was below him. In the tradition of all great passive aggressive he would expend great effort doing the shittiest job possible, far more effort than it would take to just do the fucking job. We suspected he was spitting in our meals, so Christy and I decided to started putting our meals through as customer orders and wiped them from the system later. Once Poophead got wind of the game we were playing, his rage at being denied the chance to spit on our food couldn’t be contained. He reported us to Don, which only made him look more pathetic than he already looked. When your manager has to design elaborate charades just to get you to do your damn job, you rarely receive the sympathy you are expecting to sooth your sense of betrayal. Poophead didn’t scare me, I have met plenty of bullies in my time and as far as bullies go, he was pretty impotent. Spitting is pretty gross, but quite frankly your average pre-schooler eventually moves on from spitting to the really savage stuff like loudly pointing out women’s moustaches so in the scheme of things his methods were pretty stunted. Yes, the kitchen is the Chef’s domain, but if no-one wants the food you cook, you are lording over an imaginary kingdom. Unfortunately, like even the most remedial of pre-schoolers Poophead slowly learned how to be more of a dickhead. Peoples tyres were being slashed and deflated in the parking lot. More specifically Christy and I were finding our cars with flat tyres far too often to be an unlucky coincidence.

Cafe Fig Tree
Cafe Fig Tree was located in the Hills District area, known for its super conservative suburbs and money. It was a lovely atmosphere, downstairs it opened up into a huge seating area that had willow trees that hung over the water. The koi fish in the pond were old and large and worth a fortune. Many times, I thought about stealing those fish and selling them on the black market, but I lack the criminal contacts and can do. Quite frankly I think I would stagnate at low level street hooker if I tried to make it in the criminal world and my ego would never allow me to be a poorly paid prostitute, so there we have it, the reason I am the respectable citizen you see before you is because I’m a combination of lazy, un-connected and have an elevated sense of my own dignity. That and my driving pretty much guaranteed the fish would be dead from terror before I left the car park.

Stage Production and Events By Travis Burns 03/16/2020 Stagehands are the men/ women in black at all events nationwide and internationally, which are responsible for insuring that the events which are held, is done in a professional manner. These people are mainly responsible for loading in and loading out all gear for the events, and are responsible for setting up the gear which is in use during the events and work for specialized technicians which are generally responsible for the main direction of the events, which are known as “Roadies”, these guys run the audio, video and lighting for the main events and the stagehand and AV Technicians set it all up.

Needles And Nightmare
It was a low-rise shit hole. At least, that’s how we described it. In reality, it was someone’s home. A home I was now standing within. My eyes took in the out of date décor and sparse furniture that casually lay about this place. Decades of old cigarette smoke clung to the walls like a cancerous veneer. Overturned beer cases had been repurposed as makeshift end-tables and dining tops. The place was carpeted throughout—if you can call what we were standing on “carpet.” It was more akin to a matted layer of congealed fibers belonging to a mortally wounded living space. No buoyance left whatsoever.

Reflections
. One work can birth reflections.Numerous hurdles can be overcome.Many projects demonstrate sheer quality.It is impossible to retrospect something that has never been launched.The planning mirrors purpose.The project planner(s) coordinated the projects'nitty gritty workings.Countless fresh tasks were launched. Quitting was not suggested. The work sections required effort.Proposals were considered. Eliminations were made.Some were cut.Some went extinct. Some went into oblivion.Planning and ledging were done. Revisions were well planned as charting required skill. Layers of work sections were piled on.Distractions dissipated. Grit and originality were well blended. So many noises were decluttered. So many grammar editors did not make the cut. Hoaxes were derouted. Scams were scoffed. Legit projects were carefully sought. Time was managed.Offers were managed.Negotiations were relentless. New workswere born. Verses were created. Sharing went on and on. Stories were appreciated. Perspectives were approached. Predictions were compared. Mountains of creativity were everyhere. New marketers were introduced. Cultural diversity increased market growth. Communities welcomed all.The process of elimination is necessary because the purge cleanses. The amount of pretenders is staggering .Watchfulness is wise; there is treasure at each rainbow.Agreement is good.Storms come to pass. Brands can exist. Writer's cramps did not happen. Great blogs occur.Senior followers and new followers followed as swarms of prospects prospected.The ledger and statements flowed . Everyday was fantastic. New invites joined .Hackers were not allowed .Operations are secured. No moment missed attention. Each detail is so important. Image is extremely important ;the creator works diligently .Many options such as branding were explored.Just as penciled detail is craftfully applied,so is each stroke of the painter's paint brush .So much mass production excited the creator.Some strange and some not so strange were encountered.Development took place.New offers were presented. The warm market boomed.In retrospect the creator eagerly ventured into each quest .Amongst the quests,one quest that stood out was the quest for talent.There was so much detail .Diversity consisted of so much talent .Talent can be cultivated.New gaps were closed .Another point reflected by the creator is knowledge growth was astronomical-Knowledge thrives from pure heart. Knowledge grows to infinite heights;the great thing is no two streams are identical.Gratitude went forth to all .Another point of retrospect of the creator is fresh content was constantly pooling .The streams flow from the mouth of the source.There are numerous options. The creator cannot stress enough the importance of each attempt . Image matters,change matters,information matters, knowledge matters, and success matters. Formation of art was beautiful .New developments were developed The vision was understood The intricate vision was undertaken .Another retrospect of the creator is unfortunately another actress role was not launched, but the creator is eager for a new actress role soon .One thing that was gained was a great read. The content added value.Many cannot get enough of a great read .Empowerment was a reflection of well led arts.The challenge of the project was undertaken .The goals mirrored the missions .Dreams came true.Leadership triumphed .Great skills were the driving force of each development.Shades of art and poetry flowed.Knowledge empowered all as sustainability was nurtured.Different sources delivered vitality while opportunities bloomed The new projects impressed fresh lights.New ideas were bountiful.The creator happily read each.
