"Unfold"-A poem and article about the challenges we face in life, and how we are not alone.
Hi everyone! For starters, I rarely post in this community, as I usually write poems and post them in Poets. However, as I was writing this poem, I felt like it would be something that most men could relate to in this world. Life is of course, full of challenges, and this particular poem of mine aims to capture the many different types of challenges faced by men, in the different phases of life. The first three stanzas involves a flashback to the times I spent recovering in the hospital, facing the tough education system, and training in the military, and regardless of how active, healthy, or old you are, I'm certain that most of you would have experienced at least 2 out of 3 of these challenges in life. And the best part? These aren't the only challenges that we face as men. There's a whole other multitude of issues and challenges that we have to face on the daily as well, and there's simply way too much for me to fit into these simple and short poem...
