~~Entry For 'The Say It Plainly' Challenge~~
Brothers & Sisters Of Light:
We must rise above hate and choose love even when the cold-hearted don't...
We must refrain from being loud & wrong and do the things that hatefulness won't...
We must protect those who can do nothing for us or our agendas just because it is the right thing to do...
We must treat everyone with the same respect even when they aren't "power players" in the game and even when they are barefoot and destitute and unable to afford shoes...
It is wise to remember that we are all equal in God's eyes and that HE will have the final say... Now let's begin to treat our brethren in need with care and compassion even on our worst days...
Lastly, may the callous sting of hate eventually be diffused daily with love and may we continually put love into action with Divine help from above...
Long live Love!!! 🫶🏾💕🫶🏾

God Is Not Through
I wrote this poem years ago in the midst of serving in Christian ministry. I worked for a small radio station, and problems with the transmitter affected our listening area. It was hard to stay afloat. It would have been easier just to walk away, but I continued to serve for a number of years amid difficulty.

Bomb Scare
It was 2027, and the world never thought it would happen. A missle hit the United States, but it wasn't where they had anticipated. A little town in the northeast was hit by a missile strike, they didn't know why, and they didn't know exactly where it hit, but they did know it was a coastal community, somewhere between Maine and Delaware.

I am a poor beggar… desperately searching for compassion…
A good reminder :) I for one could stand to be more loving. But there are some public figures whom I will never love, or extend any good will towards, i am aware that’s a choice.
We can hope. The current world news say a very different story.
