Dye For Ru. Top Story - April 2020.
Creativity I have always been artistic in many ways. Growing up playing piano, drums and guitar. From drawing outside the lines to at home fashion shows and making silly videos with my little sister. I believe my fun upbringing has allowed me to blossom into the individual I am today. I spent the past four years as a makeup artist. Our modern world of technology has given me the chance to create content for brands, Instagram has provided me a place to showcase my brand and I look forward to developing a website very soon. You all can find my work on my Instagram platform: @itsmolls

NYFW 2020: BRAND A
Chances are, if you are a living and breathing human above the age of four (and maybe even younger), you know the fame and hype of New York Fashion Week. It’s the most stylish event that basically takes over the city, where the most prominent designers in fashion showcase their latest collection. I have always dreamed of attending one of these shows and being a part of the chaotic, unique experience. Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to attend a show during New York Fashion Week 2020.

The Woman Behind Legacy: An Empire is Born
Some might argue that an Empire can only be birthed from hard work and a Roman work ethic (we’ve all heard the phrase Rome wasn’t built in a day, so we work for it); while others claim or argue that an Empire can only be birthed by ones legacy that has been left behind and XXC is becoming the evidence of this hard-working Rome ethic by building a legacy that is one of a kind with her all-inclusive fashion show. The Legacy fashion show which began in 2015 and has been running for 5-years being help annually or biannually and we hope to see the fashion show become more than just a fashion show but a legacy that has been left behind and that is what the Legacy fashion show is about leaving a platform for creatives to come together even long after XXC has left her mark not only in the fashion industry but as well as entertainment industry.

Earthly Designs
For so long I have wanted to be a designer, creating pieces that I can fit into properly. Being taller and curvier, I have always found an issue with how my clothes fit, well, and an issue with being able to go shopping with confidence that I’d find the perfect dress for this event, or the perfect top that won’t shrink after I wash lol! Being inspired by people like Dapper Dan, I knew there was a huge need for me to get creative. My very first project, I made a fur coat to wear for my birthday. I saw a picture of Rihanna with a Blush pink suit and fur to match that inspired me, but while searching online, there were no shops that sold anything close to that. That year, I settled for a pink jumpsuit, but I was determined to make the fur coat. With the help of YouTube, my very first fur coat was created.
