Family life from the feminist perspective; can women have it all? Can anyone?
Harmonies of the Past
I love listening to music, if possible, all day long, even if it's just quietly playing to keep me company. And I can only sleep well when I'm listening to music. I keep switching radio stations, browsing through Spotify profiles, and even checking out YouTube channels. Music has always been a part of my life, for as long as I can remember.

God Bless These Hookers
I saw a hooker on the train. She entered the cab with her tiddies out and quickly tucked them back in. That's how I noticed her. I'm sure it was a business tactic and it seemed to work--for a time. It worked right up until she began to nod off into what looked like a drug induced trance.

Nudity and Tattoos
Growing up in the Soviet Union, until I turned 17, the three of us – my mom, me and my younger sister – lived in what was called “institutional housing” provided by soviet institutions to their employees. It meant that you could live in it only for as long as you work for the institution. My father was a police officer who got our institutional one-bedroom apartment and when he walked out on my mother, she had to quit her beloved job of a dressmaker and work for the police, not to lose the housing. She had worked at their telecom center until she retired in 2002.

My Partner Has PCOS - What Should I Do?
It's hard having PCOS, so I can only imagine it's hard to be with someone with PCOS. I say this as a woman with (polycystic ovarian syndrome) PCOS and who also has a loving supportive partner that I am constantly apologizing to for my moods. If you are in a relationship with a woman who says that she has PCOS, it helps to know what that exactly means. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome has been known to affect relationships, the woman's self-esteem, and thus ultimately her confidence in even her partners.
