Oh—You’re a Writer!
I live in a 55+ community. Some of us still work, but most of the residents fill their days with exercise classes, card games, Mahjong, Bingo, and various social clubs. Since the community is in South Florida, the pool is always a popular location. Evenings offer regular activities like “Tipsy Tuesdays and concerts or dance bands on Friday nights. Of course, all the evening activities are over by no later than 9 o’clock. The old people mustn’t stay out too late or they could have an accident driving their golf carts home.

I am the first to admit that I am oblivious to a lot of what is happening on Vocal. There is a lot to keep up with. I did ask to be made to feel warm and fuzzy, but now I feel like I if I am not careful, I will internally and externally combust. Things have certainly heated up on the platform.

Do It Scared. Top Story - August 2023.
I believe it was the winter of 2006 when I logged on to the family computer. It was a big hunk of a thing and sat on a wooden desk in what was aptly named the computer room. There were other things in there besides the computer – the ironing board, boxes upon boxes of old family videos, and the overall miscellaneous junk that tends to get accumulated over time that doesn’t have anywhere else to go. But it’s the computer room, because that’s the main purpose of it.
