Prompts
Malware Awareness. Content Warning.
What is Malware: In the ever-changing world of cyber threats, malware remains a constant, albeit evolving, concern. As technology advances, so do the methods of attack, with cybercriminals continually developing more sophisticated ways to infiltrate systems. A significant area of vulnerability in recent times has been WordPress, a popular content management system (CMS) that powers a significant portion of the web.

Prompted: #1. Top Story - February 2024.
PROMPTED: INTRODUCTION I'm new here, but I'm a fan of writing prompts (I have a few things to say about them HERE) and I'm a fan of creating community and uplifting other writers. So, I thought I'd attempt to host a writing challenge (unofficial). If it gets enough interest, I hope to make this a regular monthly exercise. I welcome your feedback and encourage you to join in the fun.

A Story Every Day - Prompts for February 2024
February is almost on us, so here are some prompts for you for your brain to mull on! Reminder: The aim is to post a short story (microfiction) EVERY DAY in 2024. Here's the post about it, and the follow-up. Word limit is 366 (minimum count 300) The prompts are aids only, not challenges (unless you want to use them that way). It doesn't have to be perfect. Hopefully a decent standard, but not perfect. Perfection is the enemy of creativity, no? The idea is to get the juices flowing. Stories that are short and sweet, and plenty of them. There's a way to keep your streak going if you know in advance you won't be able to get online on certain dates

The Power of Prompts
Introduction The blank page is a canvas of endless possibilities, waiting for a writer to paint a picture with words: a doodle, a masterpiece, or something in between. There are so many possibilities, that the most seasoned creative writer can be intimidated by the blank page.

A Rare Non Fiction Writing
A little over two years ago I rented artistic space with the Vocal+ platform and for the most part its enhanced my short fiction/poetic displays. Adding personal stock pictures allows me the opportunity to notify anyone visiting my writing that there are books authored by me on Amazon, these innocent advertising pitches describes my interests accurately.

A Singular World of Writers
In a world where it is believed that all authors are rich and famous, the world of Vocal, and similar sites are astonishing to me. Having stumbled upon Vocal a full year ago, six months into my serious writing journey, I couldn't believe a place like this existed. A venue where my paltry attempts at writing garnered kind words of encouragement from others, who were in love with the pen and paper, just as I was. It was as if I'd landed upon a soft, warm cloud of words, that carried me from one challenge to another, beckoning the unplumbed depths of my ability.
