You Should Inspire You
I noticed the competition for inspiring women is fierce on vocal. I have submitted more than one piece, but there are many people that inspire me and it is hard to choose just one. Until I realized something today. I am going up against multiple articles that have written about sisters, mothers, aunts and the occasional celebrity who faced environmental, feminist and educational issues.

Why Bonnie Bennett is the Best
Now, I have watched the Vampire Diaries series through twice. I am now on my third run and there are many three dimensional characters such as Damon, Elena, and Jeremy. I was always vouching for Damon, but after watching the first season again...I always forget that he killed Stefan's best friend, whom he knew for almost 100 years. Stefan should have been far more heartbroken about Lexi's death, but instead it seems he had moved on quite quickly from her death and did not even hold a funeral for her. I know that's probably not how the story went, but he should have done something for her. I used to be a fan of Stefan, but he seems to turn everyone around him into the villain. He is always blaming someone else. Damon will always be one of my favorites because he does not let Elena do whatever she wants, but he genuinely cares for her and will do anything to keep her alive. I was a fan of Caroline, she was a little unsure of herself and found a new self when she gets turned into a vampire and I admired her for that. Bonnie Bennett is such a good person.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
I love to bake. It is one of my hobbies. I like to stand in the kitchen and look up a recipe and then make it my own. A lot of people claim that their chocolate chip cookies are the best, but I think my cookies are pretty good and very edible. I am not a cookie connoisseur or anyone that knows anything about food, but the cookies that I make turn out great every time. I am not saying that they are to die for, but I think about my own chocolate chip cookies a lot. I crave them a lot as well. I am a big food fanatic and cookies are one of the favorite things to make. I had a really hard time finding a recipe that fits my liking, so with a few adjustments I found the perfect recipe that works for me.

I got dressed in clothes that did not make me seem too ridiculous and I stepped out of the apartment with my key in hand. I found pants that were high waist and ballet flats that were black along with a short-sleeve blue blouse that we buttoned up to my neck. I still felt stupid wearing clothes. I went downstairs to find the conference room. The lobby was vast and large, there were hallways that I had not noticed when I first walked in. I found the correct conference room and I opened the door. I was surrounded by mostly men who wore suits and had beards. I recognized the man at the end of the table as the president. His suit was navy blue, he was a tall thin man with a mustache that was milk-white and his ears were pierced through and wore diamond earrings, his hair was pepper colored and it made him look weird because his mustache did not match his hair at all. He looked better on the television at home. That's when I noticed the security guards standing behind him, they were dressed in all black and had dark sunglasses even though they were outside.

Well, you have watched all the Netflix shows and you are having a hard time finding anything to watch because either you have seen it or you do not want to watch it. I am here to save you from your boredom. There are so many fun activities to do inside without being attached to Netflix. So I have compiled a list of a few new hobbies that you could do, this article is pointed mostly to women, but of course men can take part in these activities too.

I looked around the room. I could try and contact my brother if I could use the computer or telephone. The telephone would not help me much since I had no idea where he was. The best chance I had was through the computer. I could do it quickly before Ralph got back with my things. I walked over to the computer and without sitting on the chair I booted it up. It made a few whirring noises, the screen started to brighten up. A beaming sound came through the system and there was a login pop-up. I clicked the icon and I hoped no password was required. The computer immediately logged in. I was lucky. This made things slightly easier. I immediately found settings and set up my password. I heard footsteps outside, they were inching closer to the apartment door. I abruptly turned off the computer, I heard the doorknob turn. I tried my best to act casual as Ralph came in holding bags of my new clothes, I helped him through the door with the clothing.

I woke up in the morning. I did not recognize the bed I was in until I remember all that happened. I opened the closet and chose an outfit, it did not look like something I would wear, it was a black dress with a white collar, the other clothes to choose from were even worse, they were not practical, other dresses were long and went down to the floor. How was someone supposed to walk in that? I stepped out of my room and the lady that met me yesterday was here again.

Review of Locke and Key
Recently, Netflix has been making shows and movies of their own. I started watching the show titled "Locke and Key". The reason I started it was because IMDB rated the show at a 7.4 our of 10 and rotten tomatoes had rated the show at 66%, so both of the ratings were a little above average. A lot of people seem to be obsessed with it and I can see why. The idea that there are hidden keys all over a house makes it exciting to see what each newly found key does. Now, I do have my reservations about the show as well. Starting with the good points, I like the set design, everything seems to be well thought out, such as the old carpets in each room, the kitchen and each bedroom. The school does not look fancy, but an ordinary school with small lockers. The friendships that the children Tyler, Kinsey and Bode form relationships seem real and each character is not two-dimensional. They have background stories and their town hobbies. Now, I know the show is meant to be an adaptation of a horror comic written by Joe Hill and some viewers were expecting it to be scarier than it is, but I cannot deal with horror movies. I am glad, this is a show that I can handle and enjoy.

I remember it like yesterday. The Covid-19 virus. It started in China and made it's way to North America. There were only a few cases at first, but then the numbers grew and eventually, The Change came. That's what we called it The Change, it happened over a few weeks. Shops started to close it's doors for fear of the virus spreading. Then, small businesses were forced to close down for good because they were not making a profit, many boarded up their windows and sealed their doors. The streets began to empty, fewer and fewer cars were seen on the streets at night and then eventually during the day. Everyone was afraid and they had a right to be for this was a pandemic. The pandemic had turned into a plague and that's when things went bad. The grocery stores were no longer stocking up on food supply, they closed their doors as well, nothing stood open. Then, there was the uprising, the government was no longer funding research for the Covid-19.

When doing an English degree the word "feminism" does not fade no matter what class you take. Eventually, there will be either a professor or a theme of a book that mentions feminism. There is no escaping this. I decided to compile a list of female writers that were feminists. These female writers are ones that made an imprint on the past. So, I will not bore with more information and dive right into the list of female feminist writers that influenced the past.

What is it that you desire?
I was in high school, in the eleventh grade and I had no idea what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Truth is at that age I did not give it much thought. I had great friends, I laughed a lot with them. Most of my friends in twelfth grade already knew what they wanted and were attending university studying various degrees from arts to science and there was me. I applied to The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology also known as SAIT. I only did it because my mom suggested I did so, but at seventeen you still have no idea of what you want or where to go with your life. You are still a child at age seventeen. I attended for a year and I found classes boring and the work tedious. I only really enjoyed one class and that was essay writing. In high school I struggled a lot with English, I found comprehension tests hard because I could not explain my thought process of why I thought the answer was c. It was all multiple choice, which is annoying. I either dug too deep with the text or I was too shallow.
