Emotional Support Demon. Content Warning.
A black furry stuffed snake lay on the floor. When the woman finally fell into a deep sleep, the darkness pooled around the embarrassingly cute toy and coalesced into a sinewy form of a snake with taloned hands. Sespral looked at the sleeping woman. Her body was covered with bruises and cuts, some of which still bled unto the sheets below her. The reptilian demon glided over to her drawers and pulled out the first aid kit within and administered to her wounds.

How Genesis and The Big Bang Theory Come Close to Each Other
Science and Religion may seem opposed, but sometimes they converge in some interesting ways, such as how the Universe began. For example, there are numerous similarities between the biblical origin of the universe and the Big Bang theory. Admittedly, there are some issues, and some liberties do need to be taken to make it work completely, but the two tellings do match up rather well. Let’s look at those similarities.

The Problem With Cupcakes
A woman accepts a “free” cupcake in a fairy-owned bakery. [Generated] Elsa loved the Cafe of Daione Si. The colors were brighter than the other coffee stands, the coffee just a little sweeter, and they served the most wonderful little sandwiches. Combined with the WiFi, the place was perfect for someone working on the Great American Novel. Elsa came here frequently; it was the perfect place away from home.

Details Can Make Your Characters Even Better
When most artists design characters, they tend to design each character individually. That is, while they may pick a theme for specific sets of characters, in general, each character is designed by itself without keeping other factors in mind, such as the overall theme of the piece, foreshadowing issues, and sometimes even other characters. While the characters created can be good, possibly even iconic, it can create a disconnect between the characters, sometimes even a disconnect between the characters and the overall piece. By considering various factors, the characters can be better linked to each other and the piece in question.

Chalet of Bloody Corpses
The five hikers had stopped for some quick skinny dipping. Helga had started it, claiming to have forgotten her swimsuit, but Chad had given the idea wings as he stripped down. He hit Charlie with his underpants, challenging the normally shy young man into the water as the more adventurous boy dove into the water. Helga grinned as Charlie quickly stripped and swam out to Chad, while Melissa stayed on shore. Thomas, always a victim of peer pressure, joined the other three. Melissa took some cajoling, but she eventually gave in, putting her cowboy hat on her clothes before diving in.

Charlie swam toward shore. He got out and dried off, taking his time in the glorious summer sun. He arched his back and tossed the towel down. He dressed and sat down next to his laptop. He sipped from his water holder, and then picked up the laptop and started typing. It was a struggle to start but he was soon in the zone.

DEA Agent Elizabeth Derring strode carefully through the dispensary, seeing everything through the sights of her Glock 19. Her team had timed the raid perfectly; there were only a couple of employees in the building. The raid had gone well until about five minutes ago, when she had lost contact with the other three members of her team. She had tried to retreat but had gotten lost.
