We live in a time where we need two full-time jobs. As well as probably like 3 roommates. The cost of living has gotten out of control. Where minimum wage is now the minimum employers are legally allowed to pay. It used to be that minimum wage was the minimum you needed to pay for basic human needs. Such as: housing, food, and travel expenses to and from work. Leaving enough money left over at the end of the month for savings and entertainment.
