This is a true story as told to me by a friend after a breakup with her abusive ex long ago. This story-prose is dedicated to all persons who live, love, and breakup after years of struggles between a woman & man, or man & man, or woman & woman. The pain bleeds the heart after secrets revealed that ended the relationship in domestic violence of either verbal abuse or physical abuse. Both hurt the heart and sever the soul. The trick is do not sell your soul for love.

"PEACE ROSE OF TIME". Content Warning.
This article is not all about me. It is written for other folks going through this decade of division. This is a response to July 4, 2024, to a person I hold close to my heart. I write this with honesty and expression of the reality of life. We live in a reality of the good, the bad, and the ugly. We do not live with constant glee and do not worry about being happy or a series of continuous balloon birthday parties. Life is full of different people, diverse cultures, different beliefs, different personalities.

"THE DISCARDED" was a project that I worked on about homeless veterans in South Austin, Texas. Excuse the typo in the title under the video description. The correct spelling is "The Discarded".
