BULLET:
GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE; PEOPLE DO! I have yet to understand the logic behind that conclusion other than to rationalize a right to carry a weapon openly and defiantly of the safety of others. So be it, just don't pretend it doesn't set others on edge that have not the inclination to carry knowing there is no need for it at present, though soon it may be as every tom, dick and harry that is scared of their own shadow feels the need to carry. May be it isn't even the gun that sets folks on edge as it is the BULLET that carries the ultimate judgement on whether a person lives or dies!

march2020
march2020 I will emerge from darkness/from the cold lewd of anger/at what is lost/Let me bask in the light of the sun/while the heat of the day burns this husk of dismay from my soul/The cold of purgatory/ slams its gates upon my frozen limbs/as I return to the land of life/in honor of that which deep is buried/Your footprints remain/I will bask in their presence/bathe in the glow of their memory/in/the midst of their sorrow/I will taste of the moments/savor wondrous laughter that lights up our spirits/the beacons of hope visible in waning dusk
