What does a Smile really mean?
What does a smile really mean? Smiles make us feel good about ourselves and even with others around us. When you smile as the saying goes "the world smiles with you". When you go out into the community and smile at whomever you see just give them a smile and they may just smile back at you and in return your smile will become bigger and last longer with more smiles to share. Even when you are feeling low when you smile there is something that just happens and with that smile one begins to feel better just in general.

Why Capitalism is not a Form of Government
Hey guys, welcome back to another educational rant with minimal research involved. Today's topic is about how there are no true forms of government besides anarchy and capitalism, and why it works so well. This topic is also an example of a much more basic concept of how organized systems maintain themselves long term.

The Sequel Stumbles (But does not Falter)
Jon M. Chu's conclusion to his ambitious two-part adaptation of the Broadway phenomenon arrives with considerable fanfare but delivers decidedly mixed results. Released on November 21, 2025, "Wicked: For Good" runs 2 hours and 17 minutes and picks up immediately where its predecessor left off, following Elphaba's exile and Glinda's ascension to Ozian celebrity. While the film has proven commercially successful—opening to $150 million domestically and setting a record for Broadway adaptations—the critical consensus suggests a marked decline from the original's magic.

Steve Jobs Was Wrong
How dare I challenge the illustrious, inimitable, and near god-like inventor of world-changing technological inventions, Steve Jobs! To be sure, I admire the man and his legacy as much as anyone. His creativity was astonishing, his ambition unparalleled. The man who wanted to put a ding in the universe put a dent in it the size of a galaxy.

What Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto Really Reveals About Women’s Struggles in Islamic Cultures
You watched Apocalypto (2006) by Mel Gibson. On the surface, it is a story of tribal conflict, rituals, and choices that don’t feel like choices at all. But now imagine that the entire narrative is a metaphor for your own internal understanding of how the world works — where every location represents a feeling (danger, safety, comfort, trust, anxiety, calm, horror), and every character embodies one facet of your personality (what you believe in, how you think rationally, how you act, what dominates you internally, how you doubt, how you fear, how you elevate yourself).

Queen of Versailles Lacks Depth
You have to even ask yourself: "why even put this show on, let alone put it on Broadway"! Opening on November 9th, this horrific show about glutinous Jackie Siegel, a Florida wanna be socialite was first a documentary back in 2012. Worse yet, Lauren Greenfield's documentary was award winning... so much for critiquing talent!

Out of the Loop
Once again, I feel out of the loop. It has been 10 days and hardly any reads, comments or insights. I know there are ups and downs when writing on these platforms and that dreaded algorithm, but for some reason when I look on my stats how can I go from say getting as many as 50 or more reads to only maybe say over the past week only a total of 12 maybe a little more. I have been reading and commenting on a lot of my notifications of well over at times anywhere from 30 or more stories.

Dork Drabbles #17 & 18
On February 27 the question is "Which famous TV family is most like yours? How are you similar? This is a hard one for real families are not perfect and able to solve problems and issues in 30 minutes. If I had to pick one, it would be The Keaton's from 'Family Ties'. Why? Because they were a family that seemed perfect, but the show showed that they were not. They were a complete family for they were not separated, divorced or even close to being a single-parent home. The only similarity to my own is that my parents stayed together.

Dork Drabble #15 & 16
The question on February 18 is 'If you won a game show, what would you want your grand prize to be? I believe that most people would want cash or a new car, but I think I would like a menagerie of small items for my home from furniture to appliances or another choice of a grand prize would be a tiny house that seem to be all the rage for some for even now Amazon has tiny houses for sale. That's it a new tiny house as long as it has room for a small library. How about you?
