Fears of rejection, judgment, or negative experience are usually the roots of the dating anxiety. The initial step in resolving this issue will involve determining what exactly causes nervousness. There are those who are afraid of uttering the wrong words, and some are afraid of being emotional and vulnerable, or misunderstood. These concerns will be discovered by taking time to reflect by journaling or by self-assessment. Once the cause of the anxiety is understood, then it appears less daunting. MY CREW
My service dog Keva died and my kids told me to go find another dog but my heart wasn't in it until I went to the shelter and our eyes met and you were big black with brown on the edges but I knew you were more than the shelter said. those big brown eyes and that happiness as we met. It wasn't just a flicker; it was a beacon. A warmth that seeped into the hollow space Keva had left behind. You wagged your tail, not with the anxious desperation of a dog eager to please, but with a confident, knowing joy, as if you'd been waiting for me all along. The volunteers kept calling you "Colin" a generic name for a dog who was anything but. I saw a soul in those eyes, a silent understanding that transcended the sterile environment of the shelter.

Using Emotional Intelligence To Handle Conflicts And Misunderstandings
Emotional intelligence is the skill to identify, perceive and control your own emotions as well as the emotions of other people. Emotional intelligence can be used in a conflict or misunderstanding situation to make people react in a calm or well-thought manner instead of reacting on the impulse. Emotionally intelligent people do not allow themselves to be manipulated by anger, frustration, or defensiveness and instead take a moment to evaluate the situation. This awareness will minimise a situation of escalating tension. Through the realization of emotional stimuli and responses, individuals can meet conflict situations with a cool mind and leave some room to discuss the issue and understand each other rather than waste time having to confront each other or creating a barrier between them.
